My Story
Political & Grassroots Experience
In Chicago, I had the privilege of working with Alderwoman Troutman (20th Ward) under a student permit, a collaboration that continued until my graduation. More recently, I actively participated in grassroots efforts for Mayor Brandon Johnson’s successful campaign. I was also deeply involved in Che "Rhymefest" Smith’s campaign for the 10th District; witnessing both he and Mayor Johnson emerge victorious was a testament to the power of community action.
Community Leadership and Mentorship
My professional background includes significant collaborations with Dr. Leon Finney and Mark Allen at the National Black Wall Street Project. My work there focused on mentorship, community engagement, and strategic organizing alongside prominent men and women in leadership.
I continued my involvement with the National Black Wall Street Project and worked closely with Mark Allen and Dr. Finney until their respective transitions, supporting various campaigns across the city.
As the General Manager of Urban Broadcast Media, I leveraged my organizational skills to facilitate productive discussions and bring diverse groups together toward common goals.
